Midori Takenaka | Senior Associate, Clifford Chance
Midori is a TMT Senior Associate at international law firm, Clifford Chance, and an active member of the firm’s global Tech Group, a cross disciplinary team of 600+ lawyers globally advising on Tech risk and opportunity.
She has a particular focus on complex IT and other commercial contracts, working with companies to implement technology transformation through strategic relationships and outsourcings. She also has experience in data privacy and cyber security, and regularly advises clients on global data privacy compliance projects, in particular working closely with business stakeholders to operationalize processes and procedures. The nature of Midori’s work is global, and spans sectors including financial services, emerging tech, platform businesses and retail.
She is a member of TMT’s diversity and inclusion committee, and is a passionate advocate for giving all women a platform. She recently created a mentorship program for junior team members, to help improve the everyday lived experience of being in a fast-paced, corporate environment.
