Naomi Masterson | Senior Principal, Enterprise Architecture & Solutions Consulting, Northern Trust
Naomi is a Vice President at Northern Trust and her current role is Senior Principal in the Enterprise Architecture and Solutions Consulting Practice.
She has been in Technology at Northern Trust for over 20 years. In her current role she is providing consultancy to the enterprise IT organisation around strategic planning and direction setting in addition to enablement of digital transformation. She is a technology trade and transaction servicing subject matter expert across IOO, Custody, Transaction and Fund Accounting – most recently leading transaction discovery for a large organisational strategy operating redesign in the Fund Accounting domain. Previously she has held various roles leading discovery, design and implementation of trade applications and was responsible for leading the technical client onboarding working closely with clients on implementations. She has also led a number of technical programme and project management initiatives in addition to managing teams throughout her career.
She is a strong female role model, passionate about diversity and inclusion. She mentors (internally/externally), is a Mental Health First Aider, an LGBT Ally, part of the Technology Diversity group and EMEA Women in Technology. In 2021, she was on a panel at the WeAreTechWomen One World conference; chaired a panel for Women in Asset Servicing, organised an internal LGBT event with over 100 attendees and organised the inaugural EMEA Technology Virtual Conference in 2021.
She is an active member of Open Spectrum (a charity supporting autistic children’s engagement in group sporting activities), and a group raising awareness, lobbying local government and Department of Education to improve provision of special educational classes for autistic children. She was an Executive Committee Director for her local Educate Together school.
She has a first class honours MBS specialising in Management Information Systems, an Higher Diploma in Marketing Practice and an honours Bachelors of Commerce. She is certified SAFE 5.0 Product Owner and Project Manager. She is working mother and has four children.
