Navroop Kaur Watwani | Senior Manager, Morgan Stanley
Navroop Kaur Watwani joined Morgan Stanley as a TAP Grad in 2015. She started as an Analyst and faced financial challenges during her education and managed to get scholarship to be able to continue her education. She now works as a Senior Manager in the Funding and Finance Technology division at Morgan Stanley. She is skilled in multiple technical areas including Big Data Technologies, Spark, Scala.
Alongside her job she loves volunteering for multiple different initiatives like food distribution, milk distribution, fruit distribution to underprivileged kids in slums in India. She is also involved in Sanitary Pad distribution to females in slums who don’t have access to basic essential hygiene items. By leveraging her technical skills, she worked on a project to automate the collection of data of females for monthly sanitary pads distribution drive. She was involved in volunteering with an NGO to help to distribute Oxygen cylinders to needy patients during the second wave of Covid in India.
She has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering degree from the College of Engineering Pune in India. She has recently started training in KungFu Karate. She loves cooking and trekking.
