Rachel Chenery | Developer, AutoTrader
Rachel is a software developer and a graduate of the TechReturners programme. She is a career changer, having previous been a solicitor. She was made redundant from her first developer role during the pandemic and considered going back into law. In April 2021, she completed the TechReturners programme, which she credits with building her confidence, as well as her technical skills. TechReturners supported her to get her current role at AutoTrader, which she loves. A mum of two, Rachel is passionate about encouraging more women and girls into tech, runs a code club for girls at her local primary school and is currently applying to be a STEM ambassador.
