Ria JohalRia Johal Program Manager at Amazon and DEI Consultant After studying engineering at university, Ria has held positions within Investment Banking, Finance and Technology sectors across her career. She is currently a Program Manager within Amazon, where she heads up multiple programs designed to drive cross-company impact globally. Most notably, she created and scaled the company’s Reverse Mentoring Program and is the UK Lead for Amazon’s People With Disabilities affinity group.

Ria is a thought leader in the Inclusion space and in addition to regularly participating in panel discussions, she has founded her own mentoring circles and hosts a variety of workshops for students and graduates designed to empower them to advocate and celebrate their unique experiences. Ria is a Mentor and Ambassador for Stemettes, a social enterprise encouraging girls and non-binary to explore STEAM, holds a position on GroceryAid’s Mentoring Steering Committee and is a Partner for Psalt, a not-for-profit organisation focussed on championing meaningful inclusion and encouraging people to truly embrace difference.
