Rituja Rao | Award-winning IT Consultant, Industry Speaker & Emerging Thought Leader
Rituja Rao is an award-winning IT Consultant, Industry Speaker and emerging thought leader with a background in Financial services and Cloud Transformation. She is vocal about Graduate careers in Tech regardless of STEM degrees, D&I and Career management. Rituja is a strong advocate of skills diversity in Tech, and uses her platforms to raise awareness about alternative routes into Tech.
She is currently a Management Consultant specializing in Cloud Transformation and DevOps at Capco – working with Tier-1 Financial Services clients, Rituja manages delivery of niche cloud migration and automation projects. She also has experience as a Scrum Master and Project Manager, having successfully delivered a £1 million digital transformation project to implement Azure Cloud and a DevOps framework for a Banking client. She has also delivered multiple client projects for Lloyds, Barclays and HSBC – ranging from new payment gateways, process optimisation and digital transformations.
Rituja is the Winner of the Future Stars of Tech: IT Manager award 2020 and TechWomen100 Awards by WeAreTheCity, and was nominated as the Digital Hero of the Year at the Computing Digital Technology Awards 2019.
Rituja is currently mentoring other young people – a Mentor on the Cajigo App and other platforms – empowering young girls to pursue a career in Tech. She is the recipient of Women on Boards Bursary 2020 – ex-Trustee for a Women’s charity, continues to explore her Board Career. She also volunteers on Career Panels across Schools in England and Wales.
Her latest venture in pipeline is a new YouTube Channel and a community called Gen-We – focusing on Skills Diversity and mental health during early careers.
