Snezana Stefanovic | Vice President, Cheque, Cash and POS Payments, RBC
Snezana Stefanovic is Vice President, Cheque, Cash and POS Payments in RBC’s Technology & Operations supporting Personal and Commercial Banking platform. In this role, Snezana is responsible for leading the strategic direction, development and support of the technology platforms for Digital Cheque Processing, Cash processing and Point of Sale Payment solutions maximizing existing and future business opportunities and supporting internal business operations.
Snezana has more than 20 years’ experience in Financial Services industry in multiple leadership roles including application development, digital and agile delivery for external clients, business availability and resiliency, operational and cyber security as well as talent management enablement.
Snezana is committed to create exceptional client experiences and prides herself in developing lasting trusting partnerships across a number of internal and external stakeholder groups.
As a leader of large global delivery teams, Snezana is a passionate team enabler and coach. She spends time developing talent through RBC programs including Women in Technology & Operations (WiTO) mentoring circles, RBC Diversity Program mentoring, Women in Leadership Advisory Circles for Early Talent, chairing Book Clubs for high potential employees, as well as mentoring and coaching a number of RBC employees on request.
Snezana has been recognized for her commitment and excellence by her colleagues and employees with numerous performance awards.
To support RBC’s purpose and give back to community, Snezana repeatedly champions for RBC Employee Giving Campaign, participates in RBC Race for the Kids and supports non-profit Canada Learning Code Organization.
Snezana holds a Master of Science, Software Engineering from University of Alberta and Bachelor of Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Belgrade, Serbia, as well as Masters of Project Management from York University Schulich School of Business and is currently pursuing Executive Master of Business Administration program at the University of Toronto in Canada.
Snezana lives with her Family in Toronto and enjoys travel, family time and reading.
