Tunji Akintokun MBE | Director, Product and Solutions Group, PwC
Tunji is a multi-award-winning leader and Director at PwC, the multinational professional services firm leading its Product and Solutions Group that sells and markets the firm’s technology enabled assets. He previously held several leadership positions at tech giant Cisco.
He is a Non-Executive Director at England Athletics and Regital, an international digital media company.
Passionate about Diversity, Science & Technology, Social Mobility, the Arts and Sport, Tunji has also resided on the councils of Grant Thornton, techUK and Teach First. At PwC he is actively involved in several diversity and inclusion initiatives including being a ColourBrave Champion, Inclusion leader for sales and marketing and a ColourBrave charity commission business mentor.
He supports his passions externally through his Ilesha Charitable Trust providing bursaries and scholarships to students and impact donations to a number of charities.
Tunji is a patron of the autism charity, CASPA and has previously founded two social enterprises (Your Future, Your Ambition and Aspire2Achieve) to inspire, excite and engage students in pursuing careers in science and technology. He has been a STEM Ambassador for the last 7 years delivering school talks and mentoring to students.
A keen African contemporary art collector, former top junior athlete and Rio 2016 Olympic Torchbearer complete his other passions in the arts and sports.
An engineering graduate from London Southbank University, he completed his post-graduate and executive training at both Stanford and Wharton Business Schools.
Tunji was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 2018 New Year’s Honours List for services to young people from ethnic minorities in Science and Technology.
