I joined PwC UK in 2009 as a graduate into the controls assurance department. Obtained by ACA and then went to New York for a 2 year secondment. During this time in New York I started to specialise in systems and process audit. On return to the UK I continued pursuing both the audit of technology and implementing technology into the audit. I left PwC for 2 years and went to work for Marks and Spencers working to mature their financial and IT control environment. I returned to PwC in 2020 and was promoted to Director at the end of 2020. The last 3 years I have spent working to evolve the audit across a number of clients and implement technology solutions to make the audit more efficient and effective.
