Rituja Rao

Rituja Rao is an emerging thought leader in the UK Tech Industry with a background in Digital Transformation and Change Management.

She is currently an IT Consultant and Project Manager at Sparta Global. With a background in Journalism, she has a creative approach to IT Consultancy and has delivered improved stakeholder management and strategic vision within IT projects. Rituja is often the first to take the lead during projects using her enthusiasm and enterprising attitude to drive the team.

She has successfully delivered a £1 million digital transformation project to implement Azure DevOps and a DevOps delivery framework with a banking client. And has now earned herself reputation as a SME on Azure DevOps, Cloud computing and Lean process optimisation within the client organisation.

Rituja is also an industry speaker, speaking about Graduate careers in Tech regardless of STEM degrees, D&I and Career management. Rituja is keen on openly sharing her story – bagging a job in a Tech role, straight out of university with a non-tech degree – to inspire graduates to join Tech. She is strong advocate of skills diversity in Tech organisations.

Rituja is the Winner of the Future Star of Tech: IT Manager award 2020 and was nominated as the Digital Hero of the Year at the Computing Digital Technology Awards 2019. She was recently awarded the Women on Boards Bursary 2020 and is a Trustee and Board Director for Being Woman Charity UK. Rituja is also a Tech Talent Charter Ambassador and one of the first 100 TechUp Women. She is a blogger, writing about all things Digital. Her latest venture in pipeline is a YouTube channel about Mental Health during early careers and millennials.
