I am a software engineer with a passion to build accessible applications. I earned a Bachelors in Computer Science and a Masters in Machine Learning and have worked in finance, security, AI and the public sector over my 8-year career. I am from India and moved to the UK in September 2019 for my postgraduate degree. Throughout my career, in both India and UK, I have seen a lack of representation of women in tech. I have often been the only woman at the table and feel an urgent need to do whatever I can to change that. I use my experience and knowledge to promote women in tech and help get them paid more.

Software engineering is about helping people and I am thrilled to have the chance to not just help with the applications I build but also represent and support women to pursue a career in tech.
