This is an exciting, yet critical period in the field of cyber security.

Our mission? To ensure the UK is the safest place to live and work online. As CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), a part of GCHQ, you’ll set the strategic direction of a respected national organisation – and world-leading cyber security agency – as we embark on the next stage of our evolution.

The CEO role is far-reaching, hugely influential and has the potential to mark the pinnacle of your career. You’ll be instrumental in shaping, delivering and communicating the UK’s national approach to cyber security. Navigating the most senior official and political partnerships, you’ll blend a high level of commercial acumen and international awareness with inspirational leadership and transformative vision.

In the event of a serious cyber incident, you’ll act as both our media spokesperson and our crisis manager within Government. Adept at translating complex technological issues into actionable messages, you’ll bring personal credibility to the NCSC’s key relationships across Government, the Intelligence Services and within the industry as you take our partnership with this community to the next level.

Your drive to deliver change will also extend deep into our organisation, as you promote and encourage an inclusive culture. You’ll be an advocate, a mentor and an inspiration, leading by example as you oversee a skilled pipeline of technical talent from all walks of life. After all, to protect a nation as diverse as ours, we need to be diverse in every sense of the word.
