I began my career with Tullett Prebon in the City, where I spent two years on the combined IT/Business Gradate programme, obtaining a diploma in Broking from Birkbeck University as part of the training.
This was followed by three years at Barclays Capital where I was a Developer on a Collateral and Exposure Management Risk system and Tech Lead on a Value at Risk system, both greenfield projects with components across front and middle offices.
During my thirteen year tenure at Credit Suisse, I have worked in various capacities across Risk and Finance IT. Initially as a Business Analyst/Data Modeler, primarily in the Zurich office where I was workstream lead on a platinum four year account ownership global project.
I progressed to a Project Manager role within the Liquidity programme, where I had significant IT delivery responsibilities spanning UK Regulatory daily reporting, the new European Banking Authority Liquidity regime and Group Liquidity reporting to FINMA.
In my current role as Group Finance IT Business Partner since 2014, I manage teams of analysts and developers located in UK, Poland and India. My remit is two-fold: I oversee the delivery of all IT activities for the critical Dublin branch as imposed by the Legal Entity Prime business migration from the Credit Suisse European entity, CSSEL to Dublin. I own (from an IT perspective) the Risk and Finance IT strategic calculator for Prudential Regulatory Authority and Financial Market Supervisory Authority standard rules whose development and implementation I manage and in this capacity, watch over all related work.
