This fantastic evening of networking is about re-connecting and finding the inspiration and motivation to really grab your career by the horns!  Are you ready to make a plan and make the most of 2022, then join us!

During the evening you will hear from our founder, Vanessa Vallely OBE as she explains how to excel in your career.  Vanessa will share her own experience as a woman in tech and explain the strategies and techniques she used to rise to the C-Suite.  This session will cover:

  • Banishing your inner critic and getting out of your own way!
  • Why you need to set goals and measure your own success
  • The importance making a career plan
  • Why your network is your net worth – Speed Network
  • How to raise your profile both internally and externally
  • How to get your ideas heard

We will also be creating connections with a facilitated speed network to allow you to meet other women in tech and form your support networks for the future.

Women in Geospatial IWD breakfast

Women in Geospatial Breakfast is back in London as part of the global celebration of International Women's Day on Friday 6th March 2020.

The new Women in Geospatial Network, in partnership with AGI, Geospatial Commission & Geovation invite you to celebrate and discuss the diversity in our industry.

There will be opportunity to hear the career journeys of some of our great female leaders and innovators in the geospatial industry as well as the chance to discuss some of the challenges we as a community face in achieving gender parity in the Geospatial Industry.

It is important to note that this is not just an event for Women! This celebration and discussion is for everyone in our industry and those that want to learn a bit more about why working in the Geospatial Community is so awesome.

Whilst the event is free we do have limited space so registration is essential. We are thrilled to be holding the event in the new Geovation space at Sutton Yard, 65 Goswell Road, London, EC1V 7EN.

Meet the Stemettes @ LGIM is a panel discussion in celebration of International Women's Day, Stemettes style!

This event is aimed at young women aged 11 and above. We’ll discuss different ways people begin their Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths related careers. We’re hoping to explore apprenticeships, A-level choices, university degrees, work experience. You’ll be able to ask the panel questions, network between each other and enjoy free food!
