Farhannah Badruzaman | IBM

In 2020 I joined the IBM Consulting Graduate Programme, and I have grown my consulting, business and technical skills as well as engaging and learning about key IBM technologies like IBM Cloud and the IBM iX Experience Orchestrator.

In just under two years at IBM I have made an impact on a large public sector project helping to deliver key milestones with over 100 IBMers as well experiencing work on internal IBM proof of concepts.

I have risen to the challenge of growing Dev and Developer Skills and have also earned cloud qualifications in IBM Cloud and AWS Cloud. I believe in enabling others to also grow technical skills and I have held various technical learning sessions resulting in earning IBM's advanced badge 'IBM Recognised Teacher/Educator' in June.

Outside of project work, I am strong believer in creating a work environment that is a home. Most notably, I am IBM’s Graduate Community Lead. In 2021 I led the organisation for and then was the host for a virtual award night for over 150 people and in June 2022 I was part of the organisation & running of our the UK& Ireland graduate communities first in person event - 'Associates Festival'. The key objectives of were to provide up-skilling on subjects such as outward mindset, personal brand, eminence, commercial awareness, develop strong networks across practice groups and build technical/functional skills. The event was attended by 150 graduates and various sponsorship and leadership across the company.

Alongside running events, I believe that a big part of creating a safe work environment is to help enable voices. In March I ran an International Women's Day talk to roughly 120 IBMers about how we can all help 'Break The Bias'. I have earned the 'Be Equal Ally' IBM badge for demonstrating a level of learning, volunteer effort and advocacy representation to support IBM's diversity & inclusion priorities.
