Cat is Director of Ocean Labs, a truly diverse collective of creative, data and digital specialists who are transforming out-of-home from a static medium to a progressive, creative, digital, responsive advertising and content channel.

Ocean Labs is an industry incubator which draws together creativity, emerging technology and digital out-of-home (DOOH), helping advertisers, agencies and brands to understand and develop the right creative approach to leverage new and emerging technologies. It has long championed start up tech businesses by providing a platform to showcase new technology.

The Labs team is responsible for delivering some of the world’s most famous DOOH campaigns, winning four Cannes Lions, including most recently a Silver for Born Free #TankFree.

At Ocean, Cat leads the company’s Voyager programme which guides the future of the business by working and mentoring junior executives across the business. Cat has previously been shortlisted for The Drum Creative Woman of the Year awards, was included in Marketing Week’s Vision 100 (2016) as well as being nominated as a Top 100 influencer of the Year for the Creative Pool Awards (2017).

Cat’s driven by the relationship between creativity and technology, a passion which determined her choice of degree in Industrial Design and Technology. From there she worked in sales and marketing for a photography studio before embracing the creative and strategic aspects of her work at the full service agency LPM.

Cat entered the evolving digital out of home sector with Eye as an Account Manager, Client Manager and Business Leader. As the company expanded, Cat contributed to milestone projects including the launch of its first Global mobile platform Amplify and the digitalisation of Gatwick and Stansted Airports. She was also responsible for Tesco’s memorable campaign at Gatwick, which created the world’s first virtual fridge for Tesco Mobile using interactive bar code technology.

As a mentor, Cat is a member of Women for Women International, sponsoring a young woman in Afghanistan through her education. She also works closely with The Female Lead initiative to empower young women from all walks of life, by changing their perceptions of modern day role models.
