Coding Black Females Bootcamp

Coding Black Females have announced the launch of their new 30 week training bootcamp, Return to Tech in partnership with GCHQ!

The bootcamp will train and support black women who have previously worked in the tech industry and would like to return after a career break. Applicants will be invited to apply for a Senior Software Engineer role at GCHQ. The role is subject to successfully completing GCHQs recruitment process and passing developed vetting. .

The bootcamp will train successful applicants in Modern Development Practices, Cloud Architecture and Technical Leadership and will help them to achieve certifications in tech.

Applicants must be over 18, based in the UK, be a British Citizen, black or mixed heritage, female or gender minority and would like to work in Manchester or Cheltenham.

Applications must also have previous experience in a technical role with hands-on coding and be returning to the tech industry after taking time out of up to 7 years for either parental leave, caring responsibilities, change or a break.

Coding Black Females was created in 2017.

We are a nonprofit organisation, and our primary aim is to provide opportunities for Black female developers to develop themselves, meet familiar faces, network, receive support and build relationships through having regular meetups.
