Last week (06 December), WeAreTechWomen celebrated our 2022 TechWomen100 Award winners at a prestigious ceremony hosted at the QEII, situated in the heart of Westminster.
Throughout the ceremony, facilitated by Julia Streets, we were joined by our special guests, keynote speaker Sophie Neary, Group Director for META UK & Ireland, who gave a speech where she passionately encouraged our winners to shout about their achievements, and Britain’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer Winners Revelation Avenue, who empowered the audience with their soulful music.
Powered by Barclays, we hosted over 400 winners, sponsors, judges and guests who enjoyed a three-course meal and champagne reception to toast the TechWomen100 finalists’ achievements.
Representatives of each of the award’s sponsors invited winners to the stage to collect their awards. Speakers praised the female talent pipeline within the room and called for more women to put themselves forward for tech roles.
