I started my career as a Graduate Trainee Engineer in Tata Technologies where I was trained as an SAP Technical Consultant.
I enjoyed programming and was able to land a new job on the basis of my 4.5 months of strong technical expertise into India’s top 3 IT companies –Wipro. In Wipro, I worked in SAP R/3 (various modules and version 3.1H- 4.6C), ECC 6.0, BW, MDM, Netweaver, Enterprise Portal, etc in numerous projects that were in onsite-offshore model or at client site, in different industries and in different geographies –India, Europe and USA.
In my 11 years career in Wipro, my roles graduated from Technical Consultant to Technical Lead to Project Lead to Project Manager and Program Manager and I also moved permanently from India to UK. I have helped clients adopt ITIL processes, establish effective onsite offshore models, transform from waterfall to agile delivery.
I then joined Infosys where I project managed their first SAP Global Trade Management implementation for a procurement division of one of the largest telecom company.
I then joined Visa as Technical Project Manager and transformed internal IT teams from waterfall to agile model of delivery and enabled the various teams to work in the digital propositions of the organisation. This included training design and implementation, tools and process change and being an Agile coach to Scrum Masters as well as to Scrum Teams.
I program managed the migration of the European Data Warehouse system for 500+ users as part of the Visa Europe Integration.
I have undertaken the transformation of the Data Products division within Technology which included defining the target operating model.
I am currently playing the role of Technology Product Manager and Head of the Innovation Centre Development team (Interim) for the London Innovation team as part of secondment.
