Having lived and studied in a small city in the northwest of Spain, I was always interested in STEM.

I studied MSc. Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Vigo (Spain), doing my major in Signal Processing and minors in Electronics and Telematics. My grades and family economic situation earned me a scholarship to do my Master Thesis at the University of Applied Sciences of Darmstadt (Germany).

Having finished my degree, I joined Hewlett Packard as a graduate in September 2011 in the Business development team, helping to shape opportunities with high contract value for HP’s Enterprise Services division. During this period, I shadowed different roles in a bid team mainly focusing on ITO Solutioning for large deals in Spain & Portugal.

Early in 2013, I moved to the UK to take up a place in the EMEA Strategic Sales Operations team. This team managed and reported on deals worth >$50m in the Sales Pipeline, interlocking with Finance and Sub-Region teams to manage the sales forecast, measuring business performance, deal governance, reporting, information analysis and actions plans.

After almost a year in the Sales Operations team, I requested a transfer to the Solution Lead team in UK, as I saw this role more suited to my skills and the career path I wanted to follow. In this team, I started to engage mainly in small (<$10m) Cloud deals with a very limited team, where I had to cover multiple technical areas and represent them in front of the customer. At the end of 2016, due to a re-organization of the solutioning roles, I requested a move to the Workplace & Mobility team as I felt a more technical role and deeper knowledge of a different offering would assist with my development.

I worked as a Workplace & Mobility Tower Lead until joining Fujitsu as a Lead Deal Architect (LDA) in November 2018. Since then I have worked in multiple engagements with different customers in different sectors, leading large teams.

In addition to my daily work, I co-created the Women’s PreSales Network that aims to share experiences and ideas, and support each other. During 2020, I achieved the status of Fujitsu Distinguished Engineer, as a personal recognition of outstanding technical performance across the company; being recognised as North-Western Europe (NWE) Region Top Performer due to my work during Fiscal Year 19. And, I am a STEM Ambassador, looking to promote technical careers amongst young women.
