Veronica has 6 years of experience within the Financial Crime space in both Financial Institutions and Management Consultancies, her role within Financial Institutions evolved from being in Financial Crime Operations to Transformation teams. When she joined Delta Capita, she was given the opportunity to manage an End-to-End Transformation project that implemented technology based on regulatory requirements, her day-to-day responsibilities include Target Operating Model design, Process Analysis, and Product Management.

In her current role, she owns the process analysis and design workstream where she worked closely with Product Owners to propose tactical or strategic solutions and generated year-on-year cost reductions by implementing the strategic solutions to align KYC processes across multiple business lines, reducing average handling time per case, and closing regulatory requirements.

She is responsible for gathering and fulfilling the organization’s business requirements across multiple business lines, ensuring all processes are analyzed and mapped, proposing solutions where automation is possible, and user stories were written. She has also actively participated in discussions with developers and technology leads on how gradually they can deploy the massive amount of technology changes, and actively participated in PI Planning sessions in the past year determining which items should be prioritized based on the process designs and justify items in the backlog.

Veronica has created training tools and roadmaps for junior colleagues within the Target Operating Model and Process Design capabilities, providing a viable route for advancement, particularly for women in a traditionally male-dominated environment in Technology Consulting.

Combining data, technology, and consulting at Delta Capita, allowed Veronica to create efficient, impactful, profitable, and innovative client solutions for fighting Financial Crime.
