A former self-confessed technophobe whom didn’t own her first ever laptop until she was 30 (after being awarded a scholarship to buy one), Victoria not long after switched into tech by undertaking a software engineering apprenticeship, after having previously worked in many jobs across multiple industries and countries.

Merging her previous experience working in financial services with her new technical development knowledge, she now works as an contracted business analyst in the FinTech space.

Victoria is also a passionate tech advocate whom volunteers as a registered STEM ambassador, and has helped run events for: Code First Girls, Code Co-op, Women TechMakers, Women Who Code, and currently leads the Lean In Belfast Women in Tech network. She’s also sits on the board of local charities: MACS Supporting Children & Young People, and Tech Education Network.
