WeAreTechWomen recently partnered with technology firm Huddle for an event called Overcoming Obstacles and Finding Career Success, aimed at the women in technology community.
The joint career success event took place on August 25 at Huddle’s offices in Aldgate Tower.
A panel of experts utilised the evening to share their own experiences, of working within the technology sector, and shared their own words of wisdom for attendees.
The panel featured:

- Christina Bowe, Regional VP EMEA FP Sales, Lexmark Software
- Sarah Winmill, IT Director (Professional Services), University College London
- Ana Agoretta, Database Manager, Trace Isys
- Rob Bravo, Talking Talent
The panel shared their own stories of how they overcame obstacles to achieve their goals and revealed advice that they would give their younger-selves.
The event marked the second time that WeAreTheCity and Huddle have partnered for an event to encourage and support more women in technology, with the first event focusing on How to Overcome Imposter Syndrome.
