In 2017, I completed my MSc in Project and Enterprise Management at the University College of London. Soon after graduating, I joined PwC Luxembourg Accelerator as an advisor, where I worked as a Business Mission Leader on export missions, as part of the EU Gateway Business Avenues, a programme that accelerates the international development of innovative European SMEs within a variety of sectors including Construction & Building Technologies and Information & Communication Technologies. This placement provided me with exposure to technological changes in a variety of industries, including construction, finance, food safety and ICT much more. The placement triggered my interest in technology and their transformational power for the businesses, in particular, the financial industry. Eager to actively participate in the technological transformation taking place and keen on acquiring technical skills, I joined MThree Consulting where I trained as a Product Support Analyst, focusing on the financial knowledge, Linux/Unix scripting skill, SQL, Excel to only cite a few examples. In November 2017, I joined Nomura as an MThree Consulting Alumni Associate Business Analyst, a role suited to my multi-disciplinary profile.
Since joining the Change team, I have been given extensive opportunities to develop my technical – in areas such as Advanced Excel, Python Pandas, SQL Developer, Confluence, Jira amongst many other tools – and financial knowledge. Evolving in a fast-paced environment where technical skills and interpersonal skills in managing stakeholders is key, this experience has strengthened my willingness to pursue a career in technology and finance.
